Taking the stage at the 2017 North American International Auto Show for the first time as Yanfeng Automotive Interiors, the world’s largest supplier of automotive interiors and a joint venture established in 2015, the company wanted to make a splash.
The challenge: how to stand out in a competitive crowd at a show that’s geared towards automakers, while competing for the media’s time and attention against the many automaker and auto supplier exhibitors.
Well in advance of the show, we got to work encouraging media attendance at Yanfeng Automotive Interiors’ news conference, arranging media interviews for executives, developing press kit materials and assisting in social media support.
And the results? Standing-room-only media attendance at the press conference for the unveiling of the company’s next generation autonomous vehicle interior concept, XiM17; numerous one-on-on media interviews throughout press days; and more than two million media impressions for this global auto supplier.
