Looking for a way to affordably position your company as a player in the automotive mobility technology innovation space, while avoiding the cost, clutter and competition of a show like CES?

Then take a look at AutoMobili-D, a focused exhibition, conference and symposium for mobility technology that has grown out of one of the world’s best auto shows, the North American International Auto Show (NAIAS) in Detroit.

Detroit’s North American International Auto Show

The eyes of the world are literally on Detroit during NAIAS, which hosts more than 5,100 journalists, nearly 40,000 industry executives and more than 800,000 visitors. It is the top auto show in North America and one of the top three in the world, and is the location where many new vehicles and concept cars are unveiled.

AutoMobili-D was added to NAIAS last year, and it is expanding in 2018 to offer even greater value – in terms of visibility, industry interaction and connection with the right players – for automakers, auto suppliers, technology companies and mobility start-ups, as well venture capitalists, universities and associations.

AutoMobili-D Expands

The AutoMobili-D exposition and symposium is slated to run January 14 – 21, 2018 at Detroit’s automotive epicenter, Cobo Center. It has expanded to span 150,000 sq. ft. of exhibit space (adjacent to and complementing the usual auto show space), and will conduct 40+ hours of symposiums and press conferences showcasing the latest innovations in automotive mobility.

Some 200 international brands and several national newsmakers will participate in this mobility ecosystem and crossroad event … including automakers, tier suppliers, technology start-ups, associations, venture capital firms and corporate sponsors – all looking to advance the future of mobility while interacting with more than 5,100 reporters and analysts, and almost 40,000 auto industry executives.

Mobility Technology Communities

The expanded AutoMobili-D will feature exhibitors in the scenic Cobo Atrium as well as Cobo’s Hall E – dubbed The Planet M Exhibit Hall – which will host five “communities” focused on:

  • Connected car technologies
  • Autonomous technologies
  • E-mobility (electrification) technologies
  • Urban mobility and
  • Mobility services.

The hall will also feature a vehicle test pad for demonstrations of some of the latest featured advanced mobility technologies.

Career Exposition – FACE

And for the first time, the event is partnering with the Michigan Economic Development Corporation to launch the Future Automotive Career Exposition, to help connect job-seekers directly with innovative companies in the mobility ecosystem.

Mobility Speed-dating

New in 2018, and of particular interest to start-ups and new tech firms, will be a series of AutoMobili-D industry speed dating events for exhibitors.

On Sunday, exhibitors will offer 5-minute pitches to analysts; on Monday, match-ups between venture capital groups and start-ups will be conducted; and on Tuesday, a matchmaking session between exhibitors and other industry contacts will be held.

Exhibit packages for AutoMobili-D start at $15,000 and include NAIAS marketing and PR support.
