Bianchi Public Relations, Inc. to Support Habitat for Humanity Detroit

TROY, Mich., Aug. 4, 2008 – Habitat for Humanity Detroit – a nonprofit Christian housing organization dedicated to building affordable housing in partnership with those in need in the city of Detroit – has chosen Bianchi Public Relations, Inc. to execute its pro bono media relations efforts. The announcement was made by Vincent Tilford, executive director of Habitat for Humanity Detroit and James Bianchi, president of the public relations firm.

The full service agency will supply counsel and media relations assistance to Habitat for Humanity Detroit, which assists families in need of adequate housing and brings together people from all walks of life to revitalize Detroit neighborhoods through the construction of affordable homes.

“We are delighted and proud to be working alongside Habitat for Humanity Detroit,” Bianchi said. “This is an organization that has been successful for over 20 years and has helped house more than 250 families in the Detroit area. We look forward to supporting and advancing the organization’s ongoing efforts.”

Through its pro bono efforts, Bianchi PR will work to promote Habitat for Humanity Detroit’s volunteer opportunities, including Blitz Builds, open houses and other special events. During all of the organization’s builds, volunteers provide the labor, while individual, church and corporate sponsors provide the money and materials to build the houses.
