TROY, Mich., Sept. 22, 2003 – Bianchi Public Relations, Inc. has been named one of “Metro Detroit’s 101 Best and Brightest Companies to Work For” by the Michigan Business & Professional Association (MBPA). The award, which recognizes companies using leading-edge human resources practices, will be presented at a ceremony on October 22, 2003 at the Troy Marriott.

“Being named one of Detroit’s best and brightest companies is truly an honor for all of us at Bianchi PR,” said firm president James A. Bianchi. “We agree with MBPA that a company is only as good as its employees. We have all worked to build a creative, family-like atmosphere that helps us attract and retain the best employees and clients. It’s great to have our team’s work recognized this way.”

According to MBPA, the awards identify Detroit-area companies that excel in human resource practices, such as work-life balance, employee education and motivation, cooperation and benefits, and community initiatives. Nominees came from a wide range of companies, spanning virtually all sizes and business segments.

Bianchi PR encourages a family-like workplace that promotes professional growth and fun. In fact, the word “fun” is in the company’s mission statement.

Examples of the company’s focus on employee involvement, teamwork and cooperation include “Afternoons of Fun” – where the Bianchi staff participates in team-building activities – and “Mornings of Caring” – at which the firm does volunteer work at the Children’s Home of Detroit’s Foundation for Exceptional Children.
