Troy, Mich., Nov. 28, 2007 – Bianchi Public Relations, Inc. announced today that it received two MarCom Creative Awards for its work on behalf of American Heartland Homebuilder and Children’s Home of Detroit (CHD). The American Heartland Homebuilder project, which involved a home build for ABC-TV’s Extreme Makeover: Home Edition, earned a platinum award, and CHD’s campaign to generate community awareness received a gold award.

In addition, the firm’s work with Johnson Controls, Inc. received an honorable mention on its 2007 North American International Auto Show media relations.

“These awards acknowledge the creativity, effectiveness and teamwork with our clients, as well as our willingness to go above and beyond the ordinary,” said James A. Bianchi, president of Bianchi PR. “We are extremely proud of our account teams’ dedication and skill, and their focus on generating results in partnership with our clients.”

The MarCom Awards program is an international competition for marketing and communication professionals involved in the concept, writing and design of marketing and communication programs and print, visual and audio materials. Over 5,000 entries were received from the United States and several other countries this year and were judged by the Association of Marketing and Communication Professionals.

The American Heartland Homebuilder project’s platinum award recognized the agency’s excellence in quality, creativity and resourcefulness. Bianchi PR successfully met the challenge to ensure effective and continuous communication with the media during a Michigan ABC-TV’s Extreme Makeover: Home Edition build, resulting in widespread media coverage of the record-breaking event.

On behalf of CHD, the agency won a gold award for its campaign to increase community awareness for the non-profit organization. By specifically designing a plan to maximize the visibility of key efforts of CHD, Bianchi PR successfully garnered credible media coverage and promoted the charity’s unique fund-raising events, which included “Let’s Ride4CHD Kids” and its Holiday Giving Tree program.

The public relations agency also earned an honorable mention for its work with Johnson Controls to increase media coverage for the company at the 2007 North American International Auto Show, as well as reinforcing the company’s position as a leader in automotive technology and innovation.

An award-winning PR agency based in Troy, Mich. and founded in 1992, Bianchi Public Relations is among Michigan’s largest PR firms.
