TROY, Mich., Sept. 10, 2012 – In celebration of its 20th anniversary, Bianchi Public Relations Inc. announced today that it will donate public relations services to Compassion Through Cameras – a non-profit organization that provides inspiration, advocacy, service and education to underprivileged children through photography workshops and awareness events. The announcement was made today by James A. Bianchi, president of the public relations firm, and Kelly Donaldson, founder and executive director of Compassion Through Cameras.
The full-service PR firm will supply public relations counsel and media relations assistance to Compassion Through Cameras and work to promote the organization, its workshops and various fundraising efforts throughout the year.
“We can’t think of a better way to commemorate our firm’s 20th anniversary than to donate our public relations resources to Compassion Through Cameras,” Bianchi said. “We’ve provided pro-bono PR services to a number of non-profits over the years, but this is special, as it’s a charity started by a friend and former employee. We hope that our PR expertise can help this organization to fulfill its mission.”
“We’re thrilled that Bianchi PR has chosen to offer their pro-bono PR services to our organization,” Donaldson said. “With the help of Bianchi PR, we hope to increase awareness of Compassion Through Cameras and continue to provide learning experiences that allow children, both locally and internationally, to redefine their potential.”
Founded in 2009, Compassion Through Cameras is a non-profit organization that collects new and used camera equipment and monetary donations to conduct children’s photography workshops in impoverished areas, providing them an opportunity to learn a skilled trade, boost self-esteem and nurture creativity.
